Site Specific Work

In this Interdisciplinary Performance Practice session we were asked to find a site/space in the Ellen Terry Building. When we found our site, we sat in it and observed the space. We then investigated the space using our bodies, voices, sounds and a score. The rest of the group were then invited to come into the space and we showed them what we discovered and found interesting. I focused on the shadows and gaps between the set of stairs, and how my body could look different when standing between these. I also played with the different sounds I could create on objects within the space. I brushed my foot across the radiator and spoke words into the cabinet and walls.
